 Big Greenwood Pond can  be seen from the Onawa road going in to Onawa. Big Greenwood Pond and Mud Greenwood is at the base of Greenwood Mountain. 

Big Greenwood Pond is known for the good Togue  fishing ( Lake Trout ) and also Brook Trout. Big Greenwood Pond is 211 acres with a max dept of 109 feet  and  is also open to ice fishing.
