Elliottsville Township: Received its name from  Elliot G. Vaughn owner of the township. Incorporated as a township February 19,1835, the community was disorganized, the final time, March 31, 1983. The population of the community fluctuated from 86 in 1900 to 26 in 1980.

The Lodge is located on the Onawa road. This road leads to Onawa Lake and Onawa which is part of Elliotsville.

The original camp was built in 1970 and named Camp Timberdoodle. Camp Timberdoodle a name no one forgot and is still called it by that name by some. In 1998 the camp was moved to the side to become the starting point for the lodge. In 1999 the construction of Wildlife Lodge began by going to the side, back and over the original camp.

The kitchen & dinning area is all that remains of the original Camp Timberdoodle.

Wildlife Lodge is a great place to come and just  relax or enjoy the seasonal  sports . If you love the outdoors, Hunt, Fish, Snowmobile, ATV, Hike, Mountain Climb, Canoeing and Kayaking this is the place for you.
